11/30/04- Wow this is fun! 11/27/04- Final installation of the flap actuator and linkage. 11/27/04- Finally I'm able to install the baggage floor. 11/21/04- All the parts Ready for installation - Now off to Disney for a week... 11/21/04- I found the proper geometry to use up the entire 4 inches of travel.
11/28/04- Steering Rods. 11/28/04- Steering Rod fabrication. 11/27/04- This is what I made for adjustment of the flap lever. 11/18/04- The flap control arm with a 1/2" bolt. 11/18/04- A 1/2" nut welded to the flap control arm to make it adjustable.
11/17/04- Flap actuator in place for a test fit. 11/17/04- Bracket in place for a test fit. 11/17/04- I ran out of acetylene so I have to finish welding this tomorrow. 11/17/04- The bracket tabs and flap bracket almost ready for welding. 11/16/04- This machine is based on a toy the Wright Brothers played with called "The Bat." It uses rubber bands to spin the blades.
11/16/04- I had to surrender the shop for a school project. Here's the new shop-master building an egg-drop machine. 11/14/04- Here's the long section temporarily installed. 11/14/04- I dusted off the torch and made the flap control tube. 11/14/04- I decided to take the rudder off the wall before it sprouted roots. It hasn't moved in over a year. 11/14/04- I re-shaped the tailskid by taking a little off the back. 11/11/04- The front attachment with a welded bolt and new bottom bearing. 11/10/04- The tailskid / tie-down installed for a test fit. 11/9/04- Machining a tailskid / tie-down.

10/14/04- I cut it right away to see what it would look like. I'll route the edges next. I may try to gun-drill the brake lines. 10/14/04- The aluminum for the main gear arrived today . 10/10/04- Done for the weekend. 10/10/04- Working on the rear fuselage. 10/9/04- I think I'll need to get her a booster seat.
10/9/04- Almost done with the seats. 10/3/04- Center console firmly cleco'd in place with the jig holding everything square. 10/2/04- In order to make sure the console is straight and square I made a jig. 9/28/04- More sliding door construction. 9/27/04- I'm working on a sliding inspection door for the wing attachment bolts below the seat. 9/25/04- Finally got the fuselage on sawhorses. With a little patience I was able to get it pretty close to perfect. 7/27/04- I'm lucky to have good neighbors. 7/25/04- The floor clecod to the firewall. 7/24/04- Some parts I made this weekend for the firewall and floor.
